Framing

Many of our customers like to have their orders framed immediately in our modern framing department. We can help our clients make a selection from more than 300 frames. We store all the details of the frame, such as the colour, the size of the passe-partout, and the type of perspex or glass used, so that we can provide the same frame at a later date, if required. Before framing, all photographs are mounted on polystyrene so that the photograph can be placed as flat as possible into the frame.

Many of our clients use their framed photographs for exhibitions or to send to business contacts, which is why we use perspex for most of our frames. This material is much stronger than glass for transporting and shipping. Perspex is available in both clear and non-reflecting versions.

Our procedures and structure allow us to deliver quickly. For example, we regularly photograph new ships undergoing sea trials and have large batches of framed photographs ready within two to three days for the handover of the ship.
